Southsea / Portsmouth Cruise Sept 2006 |

A 23 minuete video of the southsea cruise. Sometimes we all go up and down the seafront for a final lap, but this time we didn't.This video was take from one of our club cars. The camera is situated in the bumper. At the beginning you will see people getting to their cars, the mustang pulls away followed by a C3 Corvette, the the camera cars starts up and follow the cruise around. A couple of general public cars got in on the cruise, this usually happenes, was a bit of a pain, would have been nice to follow an american car all around the cruise.

A short burst of acceleration on the way to work, sounds like a turbo when I come off the gas, but I don’t hve a supercharer or turbo, so I wonder what the noise is. Is it just the airfilter making this nice sucking noise?

Revving a 2000 Trans-Am |

The corsa Cat-back has been on for about 7 months now, the Dynatech LT headers on for about 2 weeks. Cats (catalytic converters) removed yesterday morning. This is the first video we done of the car revving with this setup. Video of the car starting, idling for a little while then revving to 5K RPM twice. The exhaust is completly stainless steel now. When the car is idling its not too loud, its only when you take to over 2K I think it would be too loud to drive around a housing estate at midnight.

2000 Trans-Am Drive past in 2nd Gear |

Back down to the Ford near Purbrook, Hampshire. Wanting to see what the car sounded like under acceleration on a drive past in 2nd Gear. Starts of in 1st for a few meters then into second ready to pass the camera. Dosn't quite make the gatling gun sound like it does at certain RPM's, will try to catch that another day. Reversing up has a nice deep note to the exhaust sound. Running complete stainless exhaust system with no cats.

In this one its not a burnout, but does spin up the tyres to leave tyre marks on the road. Pass the camera in 1st gear pretty much rev limiting. Reversing up has a nice deep note to the exhaust sound. Running complete stainless exhaust system with no cats.

Engine Rev with Corsa Cat back exhaust system. The rest of the exhaust system is standard. This video was done down a country lane in Purbrook, on the same road I tend to smoke the tyres, there is a burnout video of the car on this site.

A smooth road down Purbrook Heath. The power at the rear wheels easily lights up the tyres wth no effort, keeps going all the way to the bend. Reverses up with tyres screeching, tyres should be nice and hot and sticky now.

This is a car for demonstration, although can achieve a quick 1/4 time, it was made to entertain the crowds with the flames and smoke. This car is road legal, has been MOT' ed. I guess it will make sure no one it right up your backside, if so you could char grill them.

Trans-Am U-Turn |

Image is a little dark, Trans-Am gets the tyres wet, spins the tyres with no tyre smoke, revereses up then does a u-turn getting close to te curb, kept under control. Lovely engine sound, turn up the bass on your speakers and rumble with it.

A smooth road down Purbrook Heath, very black and sticky, heat from the tyres and rubber created this nice mess. If you see the road in a couple of weeks its self healed, back to being all smooth again.
